“Dancing with the changes (I’m in the dreamtime)” Mythofacta
Mythofacta is a musical performance inspired by “Promethea”, Alan Moore’s mystical comic book. It was also inspired by the music of Sigur Ros and RenĂ© Aubry, the art of Paul Klee and Mark Lee, Susan Seddon Boulet and Tara Willow, “The art of dreaming” by Carlos Castaneda, “Technicians of Ecstasy” by Mark Levy, Carl Jung, Terence Mckenna, and the movie “Waking Life”. I sing, play guitar, do some beat-box, and I use a loop pedal to mix the layers of sounds to create harmonies. In this way I join the organic and improvisacional side to the technological side. In this way it is a synaesthesic-impressionist experience, as I am adding layers of sounds as if I was adding layers of colours, in pursuit of the perfect texture. The concept of this show is a shamanic-timeless-synaesthesic-musical-journey with the intention to create a different kind of receptivity in the listener. In a way it is a meditation but it requires the listeners to travel in their imagination. It is a spontaneous moment of creation, in which I am editing memories and making collages of ideas, painting watercolous of philosophical poetry, riding the waves of the Zuvuya. Because music is not just sound, but also silence, creating sceneries, it is intention, learning out to breathe again, explorations and successions of happy accidents, in which the melodies whisper the words. This was also inspired by travelling. Walking in the ramblas of Barcelona, experiencing the surrealism of Mexico, Turkey’s mystical …

Michelangelo The Italian Super liner
TS Michelangelo was an Italian ocean liner built in 1965 for Italian Line by Ansaldo Shipyards, Genoa. She was one of the last ships to be built primarily for liner service across the North Atlantic. Her sister ship was the TS Raffaello The Italian Line had begun planning new ships in 1958. Originally they were to be only slightly larger than SS Leonardo da Vinci, which was still being built, but the jet aircraft had not had a notable effect on the Mediterranean area at the time and a pair of genuine superliners seemed like an attractive idea, not only from a commercial point of view but also from the point of view of providing jobs to sailors and shipyard workers. Hence it was decided that the new ships would be the largest to be built in Italy since the SS Rex in 1932. It was decided that the ships would be true liners, their accommodations divided into three classes. For some reason it was also decided that the three bottom-most passenger decks would not have any portholes. It has been claimed that this made the ship’s sleek hull shape, but that seems unlikely to be true as ships of similar length/width ratio have been built with windows along the entire hull. Whatever the shortcomings in their initial design, though, the new sisters were very advanced on the technological side. The most striking feature in the ships were their Turin polytechnic-designed funnels, which consisted of an intricate trellis-like pipework (instead of the traditional even surface) to allow …
